National Dog Day Adoption Event 2019
It’s National Dog Day today. This unique day helps to acknowledge the amount of animals to be rescued every year and recognizes family dogs and dogs who operate selflessly every day to save life, maintain us safe and bring comfort. Every day, dogs put their lives on the line, offering us something extraordinary, unconditional love.
Show how much you enjoy him if you already have a canine companion by taking him for an additional lengthy walk or receiving his favourite treatments. Help protect dogs by today’s adoption or donation!
Founded in 2004, National Dog Day was developed to demonstrate profound gratitude for our lengthy association with each other–for their loving patience, unquestioning allegiance, their work, their ability to love and their ability to make the most miraculous effect on our life every day.
Visit one of our three shelters for our “Take Me Home Today Adoptathon” this Monday (August 26th) 2019 and take one of our incredible animals! And remember that while “saving one dog won’t alter the world, the world will surely alter forever for that one dog.”
Tails That Teach, Inc. has established National Rescue Dog Day to raise awareness of the numerous amount of incredible dogs in shelters waiting for adoption, promote human schooling for young kids, and encourage spay / neuter.
The day was influenced by Cooper (pictured below) who was saved in 2009, and now the primary personality in the book series Tails That Teach that teaches kids how to be kind and gentle to their animals so that they grow up to be sympathetic, accountable pet owners.
Rescue dogs often overcome extreme barriers, yet as family animals, they provide convenience, safety and friendship. But rescue dogs can do a lot more. With training, they contribute to the independence as service animals of individuals with disabilities and offer the elderly convenience. They become our eyes, ears, or legs and our greatest friend in these conditions.
Rescue dogs offer a range of therapeutic advantages. The services offered by qualified rescue dogs can benefit children, adolescents and adults with autism. As emotional support companions, rescue dogs assist the army or those suffering from mental illness to relieve anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
They also create great educators. Rescue dogs demonstrate caring and kindness to kids. It is even possible to train rescue dogs for search and rescue tasks. There’s endless opportunities!
They enhance the human condition with leaps and bounds, barks, and yips when it comes to four-legged buddies. A more loving, worthy companion is difficult to imagine.
On this special day . Go to any dog shelter and bring one dog at home and take care of that dog. You will surely be rewarded here and afterwards by God
